Dermatology Veterinary Assistant

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Dermatology team and work closely with our board-certified dermatologist. You’ll support patients and their families throughout diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while collaborating with teams across the hospital.

What you’ll do:

• Administer medications and immunotherapy under veterinary supervision
• Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT
• Support appointments, patient flow, and scheduling
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
• Educate and communicate compassionately with clients
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, and other teams
• Provide patient-centered care and emotional support throughout treatment

What We’re Looking For

• Veterinary Assistant experience required
• Specialty medicine and/or dermatology experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience with EzyVet, SmartFlow, or similar software is a plus
• Positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time
• Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.
  Schedule may shift to Tuesday–Friday
• Some holidays required
• Starting pay: $25–$28/hour, based on experience
