Portland Vet Stroudwater is open—and growing! We’re looking for a skilled, collaborative licensed or credentialed veterinary technician to join our team and help shape the future of our new general practice.

As an early member of our growing team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to influence our culture, workflows, and patient care while helping us build something exceptional together.

The Details

• Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• No weekends or major holidays
• Schedule may evolve as the practice grows to include some Saturdays
• $24–$32/hour, based on experience and licensure
• Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, based on experience and licensure

What You’ll Do

Use your skills to provide outstanding care while partnering with our veterinarians and growing team:

• Support exams, diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
• Perform laboratory work, venipuncture, and catheter placement
• Provide excellent patient care and client education
• Support patient flow and appointment coordination
• Collaborate with teammates to improve workflows and best practices

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is skilled, compassionate, collaborative, and excited to be part of a growing practice.

• LVT/CVT/RVT preferred; highly experienced veterinary assistants may also be considered
• Experience with anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with practice management software and diagnostic equipment
• Takes initiative, supports teammates, and brings a positive attitude
• Excited to help build an exceptional team culture
